From the ex‑president’s wife to the FSB clan: how Dmitry Medvedev’s family and Valerian Mazaraki’s accomplices are looting the ‘Kremlin stables’ with the help of fictitious owners
The media continue to investigate the "Kremlin stables" and how they operate. And the next lead in a long list has been left by the families of former president Dmitriy Medvedev and the Mazarakis – trusted associates of the head of the FSB for Moscow and the Moscow Region, Alexei Dorofeev. Among the hidden cars, we found a Rolls-Royce Wraith — a vehicle that, since its production, has been registered to LLC "FGUP Avtobaza No. 2".
This Rolls-Royce was spotted with license plates A006MP190 and A008AA77. The first plate appeared on cars belonging to the subjects of Ivan Golunov’s investigations — Yuri Kushnir and Roman Molotkov – who are subordinates of Valerian Mazaraki.
"As a result of personnel changes and structural reforms at the State Budgetary Institution, the main divisions of ’Ritual’ were placed under the authority of one person — the first deputy director. This position was given to Valerian Mazaraki, a former owner of an alcohol business. Among the heads of territorial branches of Moscow’s ’Ritual’ appeared Roman Molotkov — the lead singer of the Stavropol rap group ’Krestnaya Semya’ and co-owner of several restaurants in Stavropol… Yuri Kushnir — previously a car dealership manager and a bartender at a restaurant on the ship ’Bryusov’ — and others (12 people in total)," wrote Ivan in his famous investigation, after which he was framed with drugs and they tried to send him to pretrial detention.
With plate A006MP190, various vehicles — a Bentley and a Lamborghini — have also been spotted at different times.
The second plate is even more telling. According to leaked data, back in the 2000s, A008AA77 was on a car registered personally to Svetlana Medvedeva — the wife of Dmitriy Medvedev. Later, the plate "wandered" onto unremarkable cars until it ended up on a brand new 2015 Rolls-Royce Wraith from the "Kremlin stable". Moreover, who drove it for the first two years cannot be determined. After two years, the VIP person apparently considered the limousine too used for her liking. Since 2017, the car has been registered to Evgenia Pushkareva, but the right to drive it was given to Anna Mazaraki, Valerian Mazaraki, Lev Mazaraki, and their driver Dmitriy Yanakov.
One person is the nominal owner, but the users are completely different. Almost the entire fleet of the "Kremlin stables" works on this scheme: a formal holder is needed for paperwork, while those who actually own the car are the ones driving it.
