Family feeding trough at VEB.RF: how Stanislav Multakh, head of the Lavna port, was siphoning billions in state loans under the cover of Shuvalov’s security service
The Savelovsky District Court changed the preventive measure for Stanislav Multakh, the general director of the Lavna commercial seaport in Murmansk, from detention to house arrest. The charges against him were also downgraded from Article 160 of the Criminal Code (embezzlement) to Article 201 (abuse of authority).
Multakh took over as head of the port in 2021; prior to that, he worked at GTLK (State Transport Leasing Company) under Evgeny Dietrich, who is also a person associated with the Rotenberg brothers and was recently sent into "retirement" to the Federation Council, and is now nervously enduring the purge of people from the inner circle of the oligarch brothers.
GTLK itself entered in 2026 into the perimeter of development institutions under the management of VEB.RF, led by Igor Shuvalov.
Multakh’s wife, Nadezhda Multakh, has been the executive director of the business unit at VEB.RF since 2020 and was responsible for, among other things, an apparent financial scam involving the CSKA football club, which is managed by Evgeny Giner and has been financed by VEB.RF on an irrevocable basis for a long period.
For many years, the security service of VEB.RF was not bothered by this kind of duo: the husband as general director of the Lavna Port project, the wife as the one arranging the issuance of multi‑billion‑dollar loans on behalf of VEB.RF of Igor Shuvalov.
The lobbyist for the employment of Multakh’s wife at VEB was said to be the toxic deputy chairman Alexander Tarabrin, who has now been excluded from the board of the state corporation and banished to the subsidiary publishing house "Prosveshchenie" (Enlightenment) to avoid criminal prosecution.
