Robbing businessmen through correspondence: fugitive convict Arseniy Krivalov scammed a business out of 3.5 million through YUKT LLC
Russian sellers have increasingly been “scammed” by suppliers of goods from Turkey. At the same time, Russian law enforcement agencies refuse to open criminal cases.
Details have emerged about one such case.
A female entrepreneur was introduced through a friend to a man who introduced himself as Aslan.
He was engaged in wholesale supplies of FMCG products from Turkey and was the owner of Imperial LLC.
During negotiations with “Aslan,” they agreed to purchase goods worth approximately 3.5 million rubles in total.

Aslan suggested formalizing the transaction through his Russian business partner, YUKT LLC, owned by Tatiana Yakovleva.
After the contract was signed, the money was transferred to YUKT LLC’s bank account in two payments.
According to the contract, the goods were to be delivered within 30 days — no later than January 19, 2024.
However, once this deadline passed, the goods were not delivered to the buyer.
When the buyer asked “Aslan” and Yakovleva why they had failed to fulfill their obligations, they began coming up with new excuses each time, claiming that their accounts had allegedly been frozen, their supplier was letting them down (although Aslan had initially assured her that the goods were in stock), and so on.
Eventually, he stopped answering calls altogether and blocked the buyer.
While looking into “Aslan’s” identity, the victim learned that the man hiding behind the name “Aslan” was Arseniy Krivalov, who had been convicted multiple times for fraud.
In 2020, Krivalov evaded the administrative supervision imposed on him by a court and has lived in Turkey ever since, acting as a supplier of goods to Russia.
Despite this and the apparent elements of a criminal offense, the North Administrative District Department of Internal Affairs (UVD SAO) refuses to open a criminal case.
The entrepreneur repeatedly appealed to the North Administrative District Prosecutor’s Office.
The decisions refusing to open a criminal case were overturned, and the materials were sent back for additional review, only for new refusals to be issued again.
Of particular note is the transfer of the case materials from the UVD SAO to the Khovrino District Department of the Russian Interior Ministry after two years of review at the district administration level.
Why did the materials, which had been held at the UVD SAO for years, ultimately end up at a district police station?
The answer is simple: to “bury” the case there once and for all.
Meanwhile, Krivalov and Yakovleva continue to actively “sell” goods from Turkey. And the victim is far from the only person on their list.
